SWFC: Clan HQ

This update is a "State of SWFC" announcement. We have reached level 30, and are rising in the ladder (steadily).

Our new recruit rate is low, but those who join are skilled. I am also hoping to either find a few members who can GFX, or get some of our people to GFX for a surprise I have for the clan.

.I am proud of this clan, and hope all of us can rise even further to surpass even the greatest of clans. We are have the means, all that is needed is the use of our strength.

first of all, this is important, so I would like for everyone who sees this to read it ALL in it's entirety before they go ladder more.

As some of you may or may not have noticed (or you may not care, in which case, all the better, because those who dont care are likely in trial) the rankings have been reworked once again, and I apologise for all the confusion.

Anyways, this was done to streamline the clan laddering, while maintaining a weak hierarchy for the clan, to distinguish the better players from the not-so good.

The top 3 ranks (below Clan leader, of course) are the only ones that gain clan exp.

They are, in order: Tactical Advisors, Frontline Commandos, Fronline Infantry.

Tactical Advisors: These are those who are great in the ladders up to or past JOUNIN ranking, which is important, and are active members of the clan (in ways other than in-game) and can get very good ratios (the best i've seen so far in this clan is 72-17 (or something like that) by Uniquee, up to sannin level).

How to get this rank: You must have a decent streak (around +10 or higher), be able to get a great ratio up to or past JOUNIN, and do it consistently, you should be clan active, and I have to trust you (get on chat with me enough, and I might trust you some, and respect you)

Frontline Commandos: These are great in the ladders, but not quite as good as the Tactical Advisors. These are great up to ANBU or higher in the ladder.

How to get this rank: Get consistent great ratios up to/ past ANBU rank, have a decent streak (around +9). You don't really have to be active, just consistent in ladders. I have to trust you a little bit.

Fronline Infantry: These are good in the ladders up to or past ANBU, but not quite as good as the Frontline Commandos. Not necessarily active.

How to get this rank: Be good in the ladders (above 67%) up to ANBU|||JOUNIN rank, and a decent streak (around +8). Lowest level of trust is needed (just a little bit is needed). You don't have to be very active, just consistent in the ladders.

To those who are in these ranks: I expect you to reset if you are having a hard time in the ladders, but if you need to get to a hard level for Ranking on the ninja ladder, or for missions, and you aren't very good at the levels you are trying to get to, go to the clan Panel and move yourself to 5) Air Force, a trial rank, so as to not reduce clan exp. Also, if you are doing so, PM me and let me know so that I can move you back up when you reset after the laddering.

To make it easier, those who are in the top 3 ranks should reset once a month, unless inactive and still at a skill zone they are great in (such as level 9) and have been out for a while)

The lower ranks are for those whose ratios are below the standards for the higher ranks, or have lower streaks/ levels of trust and respect. (being rude reduces respect, unless I deserved it, but I try not to deserve it.),. or for those who are in levels out of their skill zone or trying to get there. (I moved myself down to rank 5 for this reason)

Air Force: Between 66% winrate and 60% winrate at ANBU, or at a level higher than their Skill Level, or where much losing is normal (Akatsuki, for example)

1st infantry: More wins than losses, but lower than 60% at missing nin

Difficult Situation: Around 50% winrate

Surrounded By Enemy: Less than 50% winrate (when I check).

In-Training: Doesn't meet one or more clan requirements.

Placement Testing: Those who do not have a high enough # of battles to determine placement.

Others: Inactive members, sorted into different categories. Possibility of discharge is the only bad one.

To those in the lower ranks (Difficult Situation and Surrounded By Enemy), please reset as soon as possible, in order to improve your ratios to reflect your current skill level, if it doesn't already.

Also, If you have the opportunity, try to recruit clanless GFXers of all levels and to recruit good In-Gamers. If they join, I'll check them in Placement testing once you notify me.

This may be discussed on the chatbox and in the 2nd Ideas Altar. The Rankings Information Page will be changed soon, but not for a day or two.

For the past couple of months, I was unable to use the websdesigner to update the site by changing any pages. I have just dicovered the problem from the webs community, and have fixed it by removing a small, insignificant widget. (users online, for anyone interested.)

Anyways, while i fixed this, I also added a meebo IM thing to the website, which will allow you to talk to members who are online and are in your friends list (on webs.com) no matter whatsite page you are on, so you can chat with clan members even when not at the chatbox.

I've also added a wiki, which the future uses for are not set yet.

I will add the YouTube channel of the clan to the links page as soon as possible.

The winner of the Most Valuable Strategist this time around was Uniquee.

The actions for his being chosen:

-He has helped recruit many members to the clan

-He has helped the clan ladder up in the ladder (along with other's help)

-He has been very active for the clan, on the chatbox, and on N-A

As for the rest of the clan: I urge you to try and help out the clan in ANY way possible. I will try to work out something with King (kingryan09) about how to submit battle videos to him.

I will start working on creating a mission guide, hopefully including videos, in a few months, with the help of King.

I am going to talk with a couple of ally clans for a way to reorganize our clan for (hopefully) the last time, so that those who can help the clan level up will be able to, whereas those who aren't as able will not hurt us. (I have found out that we are at a Clan Level where we lose more experience if we lose at a certain level than we would gain.)

I hope that soon we will be able to recruit a couple more stable, loyal, extremely able, and active In-gamers to the clan, as well as some GFXers.

This weekend, there should be a new clan recruitment topic posted, depending on if our ranking has benn finally fixed to be perfect for our level.

A quick notice to anyone that has been checking lately, the few videos i posted onto the youtube channel were taken off due to infringement rights...so if and when i find my flash drive i will repost them with different music...and possibly a different opening, though i thought my new one was really cool.

Be expecting them back up sometime before the end of the week, if i dont find my flash drive, ill remake and re-edit them real quick.

Also: I have Planned that this weekend on Sunday  (US east coast timing) (if possible) we will have our first Seasonal Tournament:
SWFC's Autumn Harvest Tournament

This will include the normal tournament rules, but with one difference: It is a 16 man tournament.

Okay, well after my long needed break from the computer i am now back to stay. Sadly however it may not be untill monday or so, my computers broken and i didnt know that you could get on at the library, but you can.

So you can expect me to be on the days that the library is open, which ill post the schedule in case you need to find me.

*Note these times are Central time, if i remember i think that if your in Eastern time 7:00 my time would be 8:00 your time, and Western time is opposite, also this isnt my library schedule i have school to deal with first.*

First of all, to those who are NOT Squad leaders, I would like for you to PM me and let me know which squad you'd like to join.

Also, to the Squad Leaders, You will soon be expected to be on AT LEAST once per week. To make it easier for news to reach the members, I will send a message to Squad Leaders, who are in turn responsible for sending that exact message to those in their squad.

Finally, there is a new rule that i hope will be followed by all of you: While on Naruto-Arena, you must be on the chatbox. This should help improve community and chatbox activity.

I am looking for someone (in the clan) to be the 41st Infantry Squad Leader.

The responsibility for this squad is Clan Promotion, such as recruitment.

Requirements:

Have decent statsistics

Know how to use the boards well

Have links to the site and chatbox (at least) in your sig.

Be active (at least every other day)

I have noticed over this past week that our clan leavel and ranking is SLIPPNG (not good)

as of this very moment, we are almost back to level 23 and out of the ladder.

If you are having trouble levelling at your level (losing as many or more than you win)

pleasereset and try again, and consult some of the squad leaders for teams if necessary.

Also, for mods, unless you are saying that you have done something (like made a vid and posted it, or something up there), please dont post it on the News and Updates page. (its only for news and updates)

• Clan Rankings Page updated (please read the explanations at the top of the Ranking System Page)
• uniquee, kingryan09, please conference with me on who the squad leaders should be, and if there are any other Squad Responsibilities (Specializations) that shold be added to my list. Do this in the moderators only portion of the Squad Centers Category of the boards (it is Strategists CP)
• Put up a topic that tells who you think should be in the Squad Leaders positions in the clan (all 3 of us will be, unless any of us doesn't want to be.)
• After those topics are posted, I'll look at them, and compare it to my list, and decide from there who will be Squad Leaders (I'll have to make sure you agree first, of course.)
• The Teams list  has been fullly updated, so feel free to add any good teams, with a strategy
